Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday, an adventurous exploration of the dunes, or just want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our Beachhouse is the perfect base for your vacation.

Our cozy holiday home is located in the heart of Wijk aan Zee, a charming village that offers everything for a great vacation. It has its own entrance, and you can easily park your car in the parking spots on the street. As soon as you step inside, you’ll immediately feel at home. The living room is warm and inviting, combined with a fully equipped kitchen. Whether you want to prepare a cozy dinner or simply make a cup of coffee, everything is available: an induction cooktop, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and microwave/oven.

After a day of walking through the beautiful dunes or exploring the surroundings, you can relax in the separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed. The French doors give you access to a small but cozy backyard, perfect for enjoying the sunshine in complete privacy in the mornings.

In the bathroom, you’ll find a shower and toilet—everything you need to start your day feeling refreshed. We make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible so you can fully relax. I love making guests feel welcome, and I do everything I can to make that happen!

A Village Full of Joy

Wijk aan Zee is a lovely, cozy village with countless dining options and a village bar/restaurant where you can spend a nice evening. The beach and dunes are just a stone’s throw away, perfect for a long walk, cycling, or simply enjoying the sun. Even in winter, the beach pavilions are open, so you can always enjoy the sea.

The village has a Spar for your daily groceries, and there are regularly fun events, such as car boot sales, food markets, and other local activities.

A Perfect Base for Exploration

What makes Wijk aan Zee so special is its central location. The city of Haarlem, the cozy town of Alkmaar, the bustling capital Amsterdam, and the iconic Zaanse Schans are all within easy reach. The bus connection to Beverwijk is excellent (every half hour), and from there, you can take the train to anywhere – perfect if you want to explore more of the Netherlands.
